Inside the IAC and College Humor Deal
On 8/15/06, IAC/InterActiveCorp. purchased a 51% majority stake in Connected Ventures, LLC for an estimated $20 Million (probably more). Connected Ventures is responsible for College Humor, Defunker, Busted Tees and the quirky video site Vimeo. IAC is responsible for buying other companies.
In keeping with the spirit of Connected Venture's flagship site College Humor, IAC/InterActive Corp. allowed the boys to sign their contracts for the deal on the chests of hundreds of drunken college coeds. Unfortunately, I can only show you a cropped photo of one of the signed documents. If you want to see her face you'll have to sign up for a membership to Hurty Elbow Raw. Stacks of Solo Cups and a keg were also made available at the signing.
