Rejected Ideas for Rose McGowan's Machine Gun Leg in Grindhouse (Planet Terror)

Grindhouse is a Double Feature from Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez.  In the Planet Terror segment of Grindhouse Rose McGowan's character Cherry has a machine gun leg.  In most of the promotional materials for the film, Cherry's left leg is the gun, but in the film, it's actually on her right leg.  Was it a conscious choice to screw up on purpose?

It must have taken a long time and lots of drugs to settle on a machine gun leg.  The examples below are of other items considered for her leg, but ultimately rejected.  Including a cane, blender, zombie leg in a cast (so the zombie can't spread), a chain saw (which would rock, because she could turn it on and use it like a wheel), a dyson vaccum, lawnmower (throwback to Dead Alive), and finally a miniature version of The Bride from Kill Bill.

Science Proves Men are Obsessed with Privates

The Online Journalism Review reported on the use of an eye-tracker to document what people focus on while reading the Web.  An unexpected revelation from the study was that men like to look at crotches a lot more often than women.

"Although both men and women look at the image of George Brett...men tend to focus on private anatomy as well as the face. For the women, the face is the only place they viewed.  Men tend to fixate more on areas of private anatomy on animals as well, as evidenced when users were directed to browse the American Kennel Club site."

Does that make the American Kennel Club site NSFW?

This hypothesis held true for my own study regarding maps.  Men spent an unhealthy amount of time fixated on Florida.

Amazing Race All Stars Charla and Mirna

Have you been watching Amazing Race All Stars (Season 11)?  If not, you're really missing out.  Really.  Take for example the genius of this image of amazing racers Charla & Mirna trying to complete a challenge by tightening bolts on the tire of a dump truck.   Why is Charla, who happens to be a dwarf, hoisting her cousin up on her shoulders?

Shouldn't they be reversed?  It could have been an arm strength issue, but Mirna could probably reach the same height, just standing on the stool herself.

In the same episode a vehicle got stuck in a rather large pothole which required the use of a wench.  Team members Kevin and Drew were stuck in an area without trees, so their solution was to attach the line to the portly Kevin, who stood directly in front of the car as Drew slammed on the gas.  The car crept forward slowly, then caught traction and accelerated out with surprising ease.  Unfortunately Drew kept driving, with Kevin still attached to the wench.  He ran alongside and hopped another pothole, screaming at his buddy to stop.
